Held at the Dynamic Earth science centre in Edinburgh on Friday 25th October, the annual ceremony recognises and rewards outstanding standards of workmanship and safety demonstrated within the roofing industry over the previous twelve months.

In the Grange area of Edinburgh, the existing roof of St Raphael’s Care Home had been exposed to several decades of harsh Scottish weather and was in need of a facelift.  To meet the project’s tight ten week deadline, Hyflex recommended the lightweight, tough and totally waterproof Exemplar Roofing System.

With the works completed on time and on budget, Hyflex were immediately awarded a further five care homes by the same client to which work have already been successfully completed.

NFRC prides itself on the highest standards of health and safety and workmanship in roofing.  The annual awards reward and celebrate the pinnacle of the roofing industry, with some breathtaking projects – including St Raphael’s Care Home – demonstrating outstanding technical excellence and aesthetic qualities.
